Happy Monday! :)
Instead of just calling it updates, I'm gonna start adding an overview in the title. Idk how to blog, but this makes sense to me if you want to read back. (Also thanks for reading in the first place).
Alright, I've got some small updates for you today that I got done over the weekend!
OUTLINES
Once upon a time, 2022 Nick said: "why do we need outlines to indicate what the player can interact with? Wouldn't it make more sense just to let the player figure it out?" - That's rough. Today's Nick says, screw that, add white outlines. Our object art blends in pretty well with the environment and the thing with some of our objects is that we have BOTH interact-able and decorative props that are literally the same sprite. So that being said... interact-able objects now have a white outline! I've attached a couple of screenshots and a link to the video on my social.

NEW NPCS
I'm excited about this one. Our super talented pixel artist started crafting some NPCs that would live in our forest village area. They ARE animated, but they aren't finished, so I'll show that in the next post. That's kind of all I have to say on this. HERE. HAVE SOME SCREEN SHOTS>

Hello there! Your game is looking so good…right up my alley. Apologies if this was addressed elsewhere, but will there be a demo coming at some point? From the dates of things, it’s probably wayyyyy too early to be asking about that, but it’s so darn pretty that I just had to be “that guy”, lol. Anyway—keep up the great work, I am definitely intrigued!! 👏🏼😊
By the way—the NPC’s are adorable, I love the pixel art. I really like the couple sharing(?) a beer and eyeing each other. So, so cute.
